On this page you will find some tests that I did with different chemicals. What interests me most is the influence the chemicals have on the grain and sharpness of the film. To see the actual result of these tests you should screen the films but that's not possible now. So what I did was add a larger picture of each test which you can view in Photoshop for example. Just click the small pictures to see a larger format. I would suggest you to compare every picture with each other to get a better idea what every chemical did with the grain, sharpness and color. During this test every developing time, temperature, bleach, clear and second developer was kept the same. I used one Kodak Tri-X super8 film and split it into small parts a.k.a. clips. So the only thing that's different in this test was the first developer that I used.
More test results will follow. I did some negative developing and I used Kodak's D19 and a new D67 with amazing results I can tell you!
